Sarah Greene

Open Research Consultant / Aligning Science Across Parkinson's

Sarah Greene is founder of the nonprofit Rapid Science and consultant to Aligning Science Across Parkinson’s (ASAP), who for the past decade has devised and helped implement strategies for incentivizing open and collaborative research. Earlier she served as Executive Director of Cancer Commons, where she created collaborative and open research processes and infrastructure on two large multi-site, interdisciplinary research initiatives charged with accelerating targeted drug discovery. She co-founded the open access Journal of Participatory Medicine (and its society), served as editorial director of Faculty of 1000 when the transformative F1000 Research journal launched, was editor of The Scientist magazine, and developed entrepreneurial products and services at The New York Times Health vertical and the New York Academy of Sciences.
